Full training and development

No prior on-the-job business travel experience is required.
Our Graduate Travel Consultant Programme includes a structured training period designed to fully prepare you before taking ownership of live bookings.

Your training journey includes:
– Six weeks of dedicated training, delivered by our in‑house training team
– Structured learning covering booking systems, travel processes, and customer service standards
– Two weeks supporting live bookings on the floor, applying your learning with hands‑on guidance from experienced colleagues
– This phased approach allows you to build confidence gradually, ensuring you are fully supported as you transition into the role.

Training does not stop after the initial programme. Ongoing coaching and development continue as you grow within the business.

About the Graduate Travel Consultant Programme

The Graduate Travel Consultant Programme is a full‑time, structured entry route into business travel.

You will be fully trained before moving into live bookings, supported by experienced colleagues and an in‑house training team. The programme focuses on building strong foundations while giving you exposure to real customer situations from early on.

Our graduates develop the skills, confidence, and professionalism required to succeed in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused role.

What you will be doing

As a Graduate Travel Consultant, you will:
– Support customers with day‑to‑day business travel arrangements
– Coordinate air, hotel, ground transport, and complex itineraries
– Build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
– Respond calmly and effectively during travel disruptions or time‑critical situations
– Develop strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills

You will become a front‑line representative of Clyde Travel Management, playing a direct role in delivering safe, reliable, and well‑managed travel services.

Career progression and flexibility

Clyde offers clear development opportunities beyond the graduate role.

As you gain experience, you will have opportunities to progress, broaden your responsibilities, and explore different areas of the business. Many graduates also highlight a positive work‑life balance and the option for hybrid working once established in the role.

We focus on continuous improvement, not static job roles.

Graduate intakes and locations

Our graduate intakes run in planned waves throughout the year and are typically focused on one office location at a time.

This page provides an overview of the Graduate Travel Consultant Programme as a whole. Details of current intake locations, start dates, and available roles will always be
clearly outlined on our vacancies page.

We recommend checking the live vacancy listing before applying, as intakes may be based in different locations depending on recruitment needs at that time.
