Clyde Travel Management has once again extended its partnership with Glasgow Warriors, as the club’s Official Travel Partner, taking our association the Warriors into its eighth year.
Since 2013, Clyde have helped to deliver the Warriors to and from the international destinations in the United Rugby Championship and Heineken Champions Cup, arranging travel for the club’s match day squads and staff.
Our support also ensured the squad were able to continue travelling during the pandemic, when travel for professional sport re-opened following the suspension of competition.
In previous seasons, the Warrior Nation has also benefitted with chartered travel made available for fixtures in France and South Africa.
Glasgow Warriors co-captain, Ryan Wilson, welcomed the partnership saying: “Clyde Travel Management play a vital part in our match week preparation and continually deliver slick travel.
“We’re grateful for the arrangements they made to help us to travel for games last season when we were playing behind closed doors. We look forward to continue working with them.”
Glasgow Warriors Managing Director Al Kellock added: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Clyde Travel Management, as they continue to deliver a first-class service for our players and coaching staff.
“Recent changes in the United Rugby Championship are helping to increase the reach of our brand around the globe and with the service Clyde provide us they play a crucial part in extending that reach.”
Clyde’s Head of Sales and Customer Relations, Melanie Quinn, said: “There are so many synergies between Glasgow Warriors and Clyde’s vision for the future, which made it easy for us to renew our strategic partnership. Both of us are globalising our brands by expanding internationally be that through the league, or physically as is the case for Clyde.
“It’s refreshing to work with a diverse team who share the values and vision of Clyde and I look forward to working with them to make this next phase of our partnership a success for us all.”
