On the 15th July 2020 the UK Government reduced the VAT for hospitality – on accommodation and food – to 5%.

During the last budget the Chancellor announced that this temporary reduction would remain in place until 30th September 2021, when it would then increase to 12.5%.

This 12.5% VAT rate will remain in place until 31st March 2022 when it will increase again to the Pre-Covid VAT of 20%.

Clyde services include enabling customers to reclaim VAT. For more information contact us at sales@clydetravel.com
