Clyde Travel Management was announced as the ‘2017 Best Large Business Travel Agent in Scotland’ as Scotland’s top-performing agents and suppliers were honoured at the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) 25th annual awards ceremony, held on Thursday 02 November, at the Doubletree Hilton in Glasgow.
The SPAA represents the interests of the Scottish travel industry, and this 25th annual awards ceremony celebrated the industries best achievements, and sees Clyde Travel Management winning the award for the third year running and the fifth time since 2010.
Clyde Travel Management Director Paul Cronje commented: “We are thrilled to pick-up this award for the third consecutive year, and we feel this is testament to the fantastic relationships we have built with suppliers, all to the ultimate benefit of our customers.
“We work extremely closely with suppliers, often involving them in our own internal training programmes, with the aim of improving our communication and understanding of each other’s services and objectives, and this is reflected in representatives from across the board – airlines, airports and car rental companies – voting for us again.
“But most of all the voting also reflects our staff attitude when dealing with suppliers and customers alike. All of our staff can feel very proud of themselves as this is a true team effort in being recognised again in what is a very competitive sector.”
Other winners recognised on the night were British Airways, KLM, Celebrity Cruises, Virgin Trains and Jet2.
